At Morgan Duke Conservation Society, we are committed to protecting ecosystems, biodiversity, forests, wildlife habitats, and public lands throughout New York State. We work to preserve the natural beauty and environmental health of the Catskill Mountains, Adirondack Park, Ulster County, and Orange County for future generations.
Morgan Duke Conservation Society helps address the growing challenges facing New York’s natural areas, including overcrowding at popular outdoor destinations and protecting areas that may become overcrowded in the future. We support sustainable recreation, responsible land management, and long-term conservation planning that protects both visitors and the environment.
We are also dedicated to reducing environmental pollution, littering, and human impacts on trails, forests, lakes, and public lands. Through volunteer stewardship, conservation partnerships, environmental advocacy, and community education, we help keep natural areas clean, protected, and accessible while preserving the ecological integrity of these landscapes.
We believe New York’s forests, waterways, and wild places should remain healthy, resilient, and protected for generations to come.
